What changes the price
Size of block
Larger blocks take more time.
Type of material
Green waste, concrete and mixed spoil have different disposal costs.
Access for trucks
Tipper access affects removal time.
Contamination
Contaminated material requires special disposal.
Every job gets looked at before it's quoted, so these get priced against your actual site rather than a formula.

How the job runs
Clearing jobs are won or lost on disposal planning. Anyone can push vegetation around; the real cost is what leaves the site and where it goes.
- Break out and load old slabs, footings and hardened surfaces.
- Confirm disposal routes and include tip fees in the written quote, itemised so you see the split.
- Walk the block and sort what is there: scrub, trees, old concrete, builders waste, general rubbish.
- Final trim and rake-off so the block reads clean, not just cleared.
- Clear with machine and attachments, keeping anything worth keeping (good topsoil, mulch-able green waste} separate.
Types of jobs we take
Overgrown blocks
Years of neglect knocked down, loaded and gone, ready for a surveyor or a mower.
Old slab removal
Garage slabs, old pathways and cracked hardstands broken out and carted away.
Builders clean-ups
Stripping sites before handover or sale when the builder wants them presentable.
Fire hazard reduction
Dry scrub and fuel loads removed ahead of summer around semi-rural blocks.
Battleaxe and rear-lot access
Narrow-access clearing where big trucks cannot load directly, using mini dumpers to bridge the gap.
Problems we plan around
Tip fees nobody budgeted. Disposal is the hidden half of every clearing job. We price it openly in the quote instead of discovering it on your invoice.
Asbestos surprises. Old fibro sheds and sheeting turn up on cleared blocks. If we suspect it, work stops around that material until testing confirms what it is. We do not touch suspected asbestos.
Trees near boundaries and power. Trees leaning over fences or lines get assessed before felling, not during. Where a job needs an arborist, we say so upfront.
Half-cleared results. Blocks left with stumps, buried rubbish and ruts are common after cheap clears. Our finish includes stump grinding out and a proper rake-off.
Common questions
Do I need council approval to clear my block?
Often yes for trees, depending on your council and lot size. We flag likely triggers during the look, but the approval call sits with you and council; we clear what is lawful to clear.
Is tip disposal included in the quote?
Yes, stated separately so you can see exactly what disposal costs versus machine time. No post-job surprises.
Can you take just one load of junk rather than a full clear?
Happy to. Small removal jobs suit our smaller trucks and keep costs down for you.
What about good soil on the block?
If the topsoil is worth keeping we stockpile it neatly on site for your landscaping, rather than sending it away with everything else.
